High interest stations

Today at Enrich we did science with Jenni.  We made an electrical circuit to try and make a light bulb using household items.  We used 8 D sized batteries, alligator clips, a plate, a jar, a pencil lead.  I gave Max a shock by putting both the alligator clips on two batteries!  Our one didn't work - but we could not figure out why?  We decided that we are going to try and improve our Enrich environment by making the area between our classroom and the next building better.  Some ideas are:  painting a mural, planting a garden, putting some tables out there so we can have lunch out there.
