Fly tying
Today at Enrich for passion time I did fly tying with Matt. My first fly was really good but my next one was even better. Katie and Alana liked my first one because it was my first time making a fly. Matt showed me how to make a fly and Matt thought I had made a fly before but I have not made one before.(: (: To make a fly tie, you start by getting a fishing hook and then you put it in a clamp. Next you get some cotton, then you can add some feathers/fur and then you wind the cotton around the feathers/fur to keep it in place. You can take it off the clamp and then you can make changes to it, like trimming the feathers/fur.

Wow Jacob I really like the fly's that you made, they look great. What a wonderful skill to learn, I am sure that not many adults even know how to do this.
